Weight is still OK
I am up 18 pounds total as of today. I was a bit shocked to step on the scale, but when I put the data into the weight tracker and saw it on the graph, I realized that I had not weighed in for 2 weeks. I had gained a full 2 pounds, but that is appropriate. With 8 more weeks to go, that keeps me on track to gain 26 pounds in the pregnancy. Baby is gaining 1/2 pound a week now and it has to come from somewhere. I guess all those frozen Snicker Bars and Dove Chocolates didn't kill my weight gain pattern like I had feared. Only 7-8 more weeks of indulgence, then I'm back on my stricter eating habits and watching my weight. Until then the mice will play....

Still on target
My weight gain total as of this morning is 14 pounds. With 12 weeks to go, that puts me at 26 pounds weight gain total gaining a pound a week here on out. I gained 2 pounds the last 2 weeks, so things are going well. I have been enjoying some nice lunches out lately, craving and consuming french onion soup and large plates of beef ribs. Yum!

Everything is going fine
I have gained 9 pounds so far at 22 weeks. That leaves 18 weeks left and I have 21 pounds allotted for weight gain if I want to gain 30 pounds. That leaves me a nice, comfortable allowance of 1 pound per week. Yay! BRING ON THE FOOD!!!! It will be even better if I gain close to 25 pounds, which is still a good gain, but I usually gain quickly at the end and I have never gained less than 25 pounds, usually just on 30 pounds. I want enough food so the baby can grow properly and put on the right amount of fat. Most of my bubs are around 7 or 8 pounds, and that would be fine. I try to wait until I am hungry before I eat my next meal. That is my system. Not going hungry. And I get hungry a LOT!
I didn't feel like taking a pic yesterday so I don't have one at exactly 22 weeks. Too busy and tired, I guess. Today was pretty easy. DS8 is away with his dad for 3 weeks. And DD is off to her dad's for 2 days, so there is less shuttling and running. I don't even need to head out this evening to Knotts. Woohoo! I think I'll go to bed early.
My belly is undulating and jumping when I lay on my back. The kicks are very apparent. I love this stage.

14 week belly shot

Here is my 14-week belly shot. I really *do* start to pop in the second trimester. I can see a difference from last week. I weighed in this morning and I'm only 3 pounds up from my weight at 5 weeks. Yay! I have gained a pound and a half since my last doc's appt, and I have my next appt this Thursday. I like to gain 1/2 pound per week in the second and third trimester, so being close to a 2-pound gain for the 4 weeks is perfect. I'm so glad I didn't put on more weight in the first tri. I prefer to gain weight in "baby" and not "bottom", arms or other mommy parts. :D

friendly tapping and weight gain
You are not going to believe this. I'm not sure if I do. But I feel tapping from my central pelvis. There is somebody down there tapping/vibrating at times. :D
My weight gain, since 5 weeks when I inputted my first weight, is 1 pound. I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow. I'm right on target. :D
