Shocker! 14 Illinois counties have more registered voters than eligible residents

Rock Island and Mercer counties are two of 14 Illinois counties with more registered voters than actual eligible voters, according to a study by the State Board of Elections.

The report says the disparity was revealed by comparing the number of registered voters in each county to the number of people listed in the 2010 Census as being older than 18 and eligible to vote.

Rock Island County lists 125,875 registered voters, although Census numbers show the county has only 114,359 residents age 18 or older. That means 11,516 people may be deceased or no longer live in the county, according to Rock Island County Clerk Karen Kinney.

The report also shows Mercer County has 14,295 registered voters, while Census numbers show the county has only 12,714 residents age 18 or older.

"We have to purge our records sometime this summer," Mercer County Clerk Phyllis Bewley said....

Other counties with more registered voters than actual eligible voters are Alexander, Clark, Clinton, Hardin, Jasper, Massac, Menard, Ogle, Pulaski, Richland, Stark and Vermilion.

I can't wait to hear how quickly the political machine fixes this problem without us having to worry our pretty little heads over it.

CA election officials take rubber erasers to 100K mail-in ballots! WHAT?

I don't see how this can be OK. All ballots should remain unmolested by officials. If the computers have a hard time reading them, count them by HAND. Geeeez!

County workers used erasers to manually correct the smudge errors on every affected ballot.

Santa Clara County election officials Tuesday shrugged off a printing flaw that caused some 100,000 ballots to be rejected by optical scanning machines, even as county employees worked overtime to scrub each and every ballot by hand, using rubber erasers.

Elma Rosas, a spokesman for the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters, said that even though the majority of mail-in ballots were affected by the printing flaw, the issue had been largely resolved. "The computers were letting us know there was an issue," Rosas said Tuesday night. "We looked at those 100,000, and we just took care of it."

If you have the technology and the inclination, Hillbuzz has a great idea about video taping your electronic voting on your cellphone, so that any shenanigans can be posted online immediately and brought to the attention of bloggers and news outlets. Particularly after the early voting complaints from Nevada and South Carolina about the machines voting straight-line Democrat.  Remember, it's only Fraud if you can prove it. Otherwise, it's a vote for the opposition.

Americans wearing Tea Party gear turned away from polls

Several Dallas Tea Party members report being not allowed to vote today while wearing Gadsden flag t shirts and pins and Dallas Tea Party shirts. Today was the first day of early voting in the State of Texas. The Dallas Tea Party is currently investigating and speaking with lawyers to determine how to respond.
Reportedly, several members at different polling places throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex were told they could not vote while wearing clothing articles depicting the Gadsden flag, pin and/or the Dallas Tea Party. They were told by polling officials wearing these articles represented electioneering at the polling place, which is illegal.

My question is, how is it electioneering if the Tea Party is not a political party? How is the Gadsden Flag electioneering any more than the American Flag would be?

Is Obama's DHS Pardoning Criminal Illegals For Citizenship?

This illegal male admits faking a Social Security number and two forms of ID in order to vote in the 2004 election. He perjured himself on the form, claiming to be a U.S. citizen. And now he wants the voter roll purged so that he can get legal citizenship. To this end, he was given a letter by the Department of Homeland Security to give to Debbie Steidl, the administrator of elections for Putnam County, Tennessee, so that his voting record could be purged. What he did was a felony. Am I the only one who's stomach is churning because of this? Is this Obama's end run around the amnesty issue? Simply fail to enforce laws regarding illegals?

And this raises the question. How many illegals will vote in November. And how will we know.
