Dem believes that GOP "stranglehold" is due to the uneducated
Could it possibly be that the "republican strangle hold" is due to independents realizing that the democrats were socialists in disguise? Infantile pacifists who would destroy our entire nuclear arsenal and declare unilateral peace on Earth? Guess how long that would last....
News flash, libs: Conservatives don't even trust the Republicans. We are trying to take over that party again, just like your Obama/Reid/Pelosi leftists took over the democrat party.
"karl rove is well aware, it s harder to fool a guy with a phd than a guy with a ged. the ged base is the republican strangle hold on the nation."-big tom
Babies think it is never their fault.
And by the way, this west coast rezident thanks the rest of you for voting conservative. Keep going strong. Libs are running scared.

Freedom will live in America, November 2nd
By electing conservatives, we hope to infuse the GOP with new ideas and common sense. That they are not there already is no surprise. Sadly, we citizens bear the weight to “be” the media, and we must “be” the support for good candidates. Ronald Reagan turned things around for Republicans back when. Obama turned things around, badly, for the Dems. A few good folks in politics can have a far reaching effect. We must never again give over our watchdog duties. The professional media is in collusion with corrupt politicians. That leaves us. Let’s not bash the GOP days before an election. Let’s improve it. There is so much to be disappointed in. Let’s move forward with a positive attitude and courage and resolve. We will NOT give up on this country. We can’t, actually. We must stand for freedom here, because if freedom dies in America, we have no place left to go.This is my response on GP to a commenter who observes that the GOP could do much better in the PR department.

Fiscal Issues Take Precedence Over Social Issues

Bipartisanship may be overrated in politics, but in the electorate I feel that we all, as Americans, need to fix the HUGE financial mess we are in. Rising debt will CRUSH this country. I implore moderate and conservatives and even old-fashioned liberals of all political stripes to vote for fiscally conservative candidates this fall. Our present administration is attempting to spend us all into bankruptcy. Please, PLEASE let us put aside our social differences for a while, get our house in order, then later we can argue about social niceties.
Clayton Cramer at Pajamas Media says:
4. Financial collapse takes precedence over everything else.
I’m mostly a social conservative. I don’t agree with libertarians on some issues, and vice versa. But guess what? We’ve got a bigger problem.
Moody’s is talking about the possibility of lowering the rating of U.S. Treasury bonds because of how severe the deficits are that Obama is intent on creating. Lowering the rating means that the interest rate that the government has to pay goes up — and that makes it that much harder to pay down the national debt when Congress again has adult supervision. We all need to focus on a smaller and more fiscally responsible federal government, and elect either conservatives or libertarians to Congress as appropriate to a particular congressional district. We have a common enemy that is larger than our differences.
We can still debate, but anyone who sits out a campaign because “he’s a libertarian” or “she’s a conservative” is helping to elect someone that is neither.
Excerpt from Pajamas Media Rules For Republicans. But I feel this particular rule applies equally to all Americans who love and want to preserve what is left of our country.

Mass Voters Send A Message To Washington
Democrats are in deep, deep trouble…because they allowed the party to be taken over by radical Alinsky socialists and America has realized exactly who’s in the White House and what the people around him are up to.
What happened to Martha Coakley is going to happen to Evan Bayh, Barbara Boxer, Blanche Lincoln, and every other fool Democrat unless they start focusing on job creation and abandon all attempts to inflict socialism or any part of Dr. Utopia’s personal agenda upon this nation.
They need to stop spending.
They need to forget about telling Americans what they have to buy.
They need to stop apologizing for America’s exceptionalism and parading around the world as effete, bowing “global citizens”.
More at Hillbuzz.
I remember listening to the radio yesterday hearing that Frank Luntz was having problems with Democrats canceling out on him at the last minute. They did not want to be seen in public voting for Coakley. This is a classic sign that the bottom fell out of a political campaign. And the bottom did fall out. Just 6 weeks prior, Coakley led Brown by 30 points. He surged 35 percentage points to win. Astounding. And much needed. Massachusetts voters, in the bluest of the blue states realized that American Government needs checks and balances. Neither party is peopled by choir boys. Our founding fathers knew this and built a system of government whereby we can police each other. It really is best that way.

Obituary of the United States
OBITUARY
Born 1776, Died 2008
It does not hurt to read this several times.
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning last November's Presidential election:
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republicans won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
