Outrage! American female soldiers forced to give up helmet for hijab

Are we going to Muslim countries like Iraq and Afghanistan to liberate their women or to be politically correct? The Female Engagement Team program officially started Oct. 1, 2010 though some teams have been operating in Afghanistan since late May 2010, according to Stars and Stripes.  How many of our female soldiers are being force to be politically correct and wear the Islamic headdress?  We don't know how many 'teams' there are, how many are on those teams, how long these teams will continue to work.

Most important, a headscarf is no protection against a sniper or IED. A helmet is standard protective gear for the most important part of the human body: the brain. A female soldier in a headscarf limits her peripheral vision, a problem when operating in a hostile or potentially hostile environment. With the bizarre hybrid of a camouflage uniform topped by a headscarf, a female service member is identifying herself as an American soldier but simultaneously making a concession to Islam (in uniform, as a representative of the American government) -- hardly an image to inspire confidence, and one that will provoke derision from a religiously motivated enemy that views such acts as weakness.

I am not OK with this. You are either undercover or you are not. Having American ladies dressed as half-soldier, half-submissive-muslim-woman is ridiculous. This is supposed to turn Afghan ladies into U.S. supporters? B.S.! How dare they subject our brave fighting troops to this humiliation. Next our generals will wear male muslim head garb, in order to make the locals "more comfortable".  We do not expend blood and treasure in the middle east for the islamization of our people.  This is outrageous!

Here is the divine Miss M enjoying her hijab experience while visiting the Istiqlal mosque in Indonesia. She looks completely happy, right? Well, no matter. Obama can beat her later if she displeases him. That's legal under Sharia law....

Where is Michelle's stylist? Who thought this overlarge, ill-fitting suit would be OK for this occasion? Especially considering that Michelle would be expected to go barefoot. Look at her holding up her pant legs to walk. This looks like one of my boys after they put on their older brother's pants by mistake.

You know, I'm glad I posted that how-to-wear-your-hijab video a while back.  Michelle looks like she did a creditable job putting this one on.  I am sorry to see that she is not asserting her rights as an American woman, in the era of women's equality, to show her hair just as much as any man.  Michelle, you let us all down when you let them oppress you.  Please ban Sharia law for all our sake.  I know you can do this by executive order.  I hear that you and Valerie Jarrett run the White House while your husband watches ESPN.  Do it for your daughters.

Now, apparently, one of the Indonesian ministers claims that he was "forced" to shake Michelle Obama's hand in the receiving line when the Obama's arrived, that that he "regrets" shaking her hand.  As a muslim he is supposed to avoid touching women.  No wonder Michelle avoided travel to muslim countries prior to this trip.  This is becoming too much.

Women in Chechnya Targeted For Not Wearing Head Scarves

Such a peaceful religion:
Chechen women complain of being approached by men in traditional islamic dress and being ordered to place scarves on their heads. They are threatened with brandished weapons and one was punched in the face.

Atabayeva was one of at least a dozen women who told of harassment or attacks. One of the women's assailants told Reuters "hundreds" of women had been warned. Atabayeva said earlier she had seen a group of men with automatic rifles taunting women for not wearing head scarves.

A woman in her mid-30s said she was punched in the face by a man in Islamic dress after refusing to put on a head scarf he had given her.

The actions follow a radical order earlier this week from Chechnya's spiritual leader to shut all cafes during the month of Ramadan, as well as paintball attacks on bare-headed women in June.

This is for all of you infidels: Get with the program. You know the scarf area at your local department store? Better start shopping, if you want to get along under Sharia. Heck, you're lucky we're not talking full Niqab or Burqa here.

And another thing. Can anybody tell me what exactly Michelle Obama wore to the White House Ramadan dinners? I noticed that Obama doesn't tend to take Michelle on his visits to middle eastern countries. Has he taken her to any? Did she co-host the Ramadan dinners with him? Did she cover her arms? Her hair?
