We Americans are turning our backs on radical liberalism. Even in Hollywood. That the members of the Academy chose Hurt Locker over Avatar, and Sandra Bullock as Best Actress, who gave a pro-life acceptance speech, this morning being replayed over KABC radio talking about dedicating her Oscar to "the moms that take care of the babies and the children, no matter where they come from....we are all deserving of love" I am struck. This is a real sea change in America. Even Obama's previously staunch allies in Hollywood are abandoning his agenda in droves. It just goes to show you how deep the "change" has been wrought. That the formerly liberal loons of the Hollywood elite are elevating movies with a conservative theme is astounding to me. But that is what has been happening this past year. Our country has flirted with radicals and come away older but wiser.
Democrat legislators had better pay attention. YOU HAVE LOST HOLLYWOOD. READ OUR LIPS. NO OBAMACARE. NO GOVERNMENT TAKEOVERS. NO BAILOUTS. STOP THE PROFLIGATE SPENDING OF OUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE EARNINGS. YOU MAY NOT RAPE OUR COUNTRY WITH IMPUNITY. WE ARE WATCHING, KEEPING SCORE, AND YOU WILL PAY!
