Date Rape Drugs Equal Attempted (or real) Murder

This is no joking matter. Secretly drugging someone could end up killing them.

Before you take this personally, let me say that this rant is not directed at any of my regular readers. You guys/gals are great. However, there are those who read here by way of Google or odd links who need a little more education, apparently.

For example, my blog traffic doubled for a couple of days this week. Sitemeter showed that I had been linked on a forum called Adventure Rider, Ride the World. This is a motorcycling forum, on which there is one thread that has been going on for around 5 years, titled Toxic Britney. Lately the "riders" had been posting pictures of "toxic drunk chicks" and put up one of the gal I had here passed out in the bathroom, with a link to the Rape In Dubai post and the comment "you can take 'em whereever (sic) you find them". That was bad enough. Then 3 pages later, someone quotes that post along with the link and makes a comment that "the sale of roofies is going through the roof in Dubai."

Not funny.

Creepy.

Hey, you Jay Leno wannabe.  You think this is funny?  Do you know that some guys read this and act on it?  Do you really think it is OK to encourage guys to drug women without their consent/knowledge?  There is a legal term for that, by the way: "gross, or 'wicked' negligence".  I think every one who does it should be thrown in jail for attempted murder.

In fact, listen up any of you who think this is OK. Yeah, I'm talking to you, you RAT B@STARD! You impotent cretin. You sniveling pile of cowardly horse $hit. You cheap-@$$ $on of a B*TCH. Go to Nevada and buy a WHORE. Leave the little girls ALONE. Or is it that you get off on destroying good girls. Sweet girls who trust you enough to take a drink from you. They will never trust any man again after you are through with them. Does that make you happy?

Are you happy when the girl starts vomiting? How about when she defecates on herself. People do that before they die. Are you monitoring her vital signs every second, like an anesthesiologist is supposed to do? Are you shocked when you find she has stopped breathing and turned cold? Yes. You are a murderer. You worthless scum.

And if any ladies are still reading, here are some crime-fighting tips:
These odorless, tasteless drugs can be sprinkled into a woman's drink if she glances away for even a moment – or dripped from an eyedropper (even bartenders are often arrested).

• Don’t accept a drink from an open container or a stranger.
• Don’t leave your drink while dancing or playing pool.
• Don’t rely on a friend to watch your drink for you.
• Don’t think putting a napkin over your glass protects you from date rape drugs. Keep your glass in your hand at all times.

If you have any doubt, pour it out. And don't accept a cigarette – they, too, can be drugged...

Ms. Natalee Holloway made a common mistake: drinking without a sober girlfriend nearby to protect her.

• Beware of guys drinking. Alcohol (especially) and drugs weakened 90 percent of women date rape victims. Eat plenty of food while limiting drinks to one or two per hour.
• Go to parties with girlfriends, watch out for each other, and leave together – not with a new beau. At least one of you should be the "Sober Sister" to safeguard the others.
• If you’re alone, don’t announce that you’re walking home. Have taxi money for a ride home. If you, your date, a girlfriend, or if you see any woman exhibit any of the above date rape drugs symptoms (or too much alcohol), get help immediately and call 911 for the police.

Heated Argument On Oil Rig Preceded Explosion

Imagine for a moment that you work on a deep-ocean oil rig. Your life is in danger. Every safety precaution adhered to lessens that danger. Every rule violated raises the danger. And a "company man", one whose life is not in danger on the rig, tells you that you have to use a substandard procedure in order to save the company money. You object. You argue. He insists. Imagine that the rig blows sky high less than 12 hours after implementing his plan. Imagine that the "company" men involved plead the 5th when asked about their role in the explosion that killed 11 men. Imagine that the deep ocean well continues to spew crude, creating an environmental disaster equal to 3 Exxon Valdezes.
Mr. Brown said Transocean's crew leaders—including the rig operator's top manager, Jimmy W. Harrell—strongly objected to a decision by BP's top representative, or "company man," over how to start removing heavy drilling fluid and replacing it with lighter seawater from a riser pipe connected to the well head. Such pipes act as conduits between the rig and the wellhead at the ocean floor, and carry drilling fluid in and out of the well.

Removing heavy drilling fluid prior to temporarily sealing up a well and abandoning it is normal, but questions have emerged about whether the crew started the process without taking other precautionary measures against gas rising into the pipe.

It wasn't clear what Mr. Harrell objected to specifically about BP's instructions, but the rig's primary driller, Dewey Revette, and tool pusher, Miles Randall Ezell, both of Transocean, also disagreed with BP, Mr. Brown said. However, BP was in charge of the operation and the BP representative prevailed, Mr. Brown said.

"The company man was basically saying, 'This is how it's gonna be,' " said Mr. Brown, who didn't recall the name of the BP representative in question.

Mr. Brown said he didn't normally pay close attention to drilling discussions during the 11 a.m. meetings, which detailed all events on the rig that day. But he said he recalled the dispute, and the cynical reaction of Mr. Harrell as he walked away afterward, in light of the April 20 accident.

Mr. Harrell "pretty much grumbled in his manner, 'I guess that is what we have those pinchers for,' " Mr. Brown testified. He said it was a reference to the shear rams on the drilling operation's blowout preventer, which are supposed to sever the main pipe in case of a disaster.

The blowout preventer failed to stop gas from rising to the surface, causing the explosion, BP has said.

I'm Clueless About Brittany Murphy

In the news today: Brittany Murphy's 39-year-old husband found dead in the master bedroom of his home, under circumstances similar to when 32-year-old Brittany Murphy was found dead 5 months ago. Huh? Brittany Murphy (the gal on the right) is dead??? Oh. This is sad. I remember how my daughter and I enjoyed watching this movie together.
TMZ reports that multiple sources say her condition was"preventable". The L.A. County Coroner also believes her condition was treatable but she did not receive the proper medical care in time. The main cause of her death was her pneumonia and severe anemia, with the multiple drugs found in her system "pushing her over the edge". The drugs found in her system include prescription as well as over-the-counter medications. One of the prescription drugs found were pre-menstrual medication for cramps, as well as over-the-counter cough syrup.

Say No To Amnesty-Thomas Paine Video

I love this guy who plays Thomas Paine. I also loved Ronald Reagan. He did so much that was good for this country. Amnesty may be the one area that I disagree with Reagan. He turned a Republican California into a Democrat California. California now flounders in a socialist vortex. Many more states will fall to Democrats if another amnesty is passed. You can see what a Democrat super majority has wrought in this country this past year. We must take back our country. Not give it away without a whimper.

Agree With Mayor Daley About Gun Control, Or He Will Shove A Gun Up Your ****

Seriously.  He said that.  In the same press conference where he said he hopes members of the U.S. Supreme Court get violently attacked on their way to or from work so they might change their opinion on McDonald versus Chicago and American's right to bear arms.
What a thug.  Is there any more obvious threat than that?  Sounds like something a Chicago mobster would say.  "You have a nice business here, it would be a shame for something to happen to it...."
I realize that he wants to reduce gun violence in his city.  But doesn't he understand that disarming law abiding citizens only encourages criminals to do more crime?  Is it fair that Daley himself travels with a team of men armed with the very devices he denies to Chicagoans?
Why are anti-gun advocates so violent with their words?

U.S. Forces New Massive Deployment to the Middle East

DEBKAfile's military sources report a decision by the Obama administration to boost US military strength in the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf regions in the short term with an extra air and naval strike forces and 6,000 Marine and sea combatants. Carrier Strike Group 10, headed by the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, sails out of the US Navy base at Norfolk, Virginia Friday, May 21. On arrival, it will raise the number of US carriers off Iranian shores to two. Up until now, President Barack Obama kept just one aircraft carrier stationed off the coast of Iran, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Arabian Sea, in pursuit of his policy of diplomatic engagement with Tehran.
For the first time, too, the US force opposite Iran will be joined by a German warship, the frigate FGS Hessen, operating under American command.
It is also the first time that Obama, since taking office 14 months ago, is sending military reinforcements to the Persian Gulf. Our military sources have learned that the USS Truman is just the first element of the new buildup of US resources around Iran. It will take place over the next three months, reaching peak level in late July and early August. By then, the Pentagon plans to have at least 4 or 5 US aircraft carriers visible from Iranian shores.
More here.

This jibes with "eye witness reports from Georgia, Minnesota, Alabama, Kansas, and perhaps Texas suggest large scale mobilizations and deployment in progress for National Guard Units." As explained here.

This comes on the heels of an apparent warming attitude of the Obama administration toward Israel. Rahm Emmanuel met with 15 prominent American Rabbis on May 13th and apologized for 14 months of "screwing up the messaging". And while he admits that it will take more than one month to undo the damage of the last 14 months, they are going to try. Typical of these cowards to address their apology to Americans rather than the Israelis. But it would be nice to see a halt to the direct attacks against Israel coming from the Obama Administration.

That Creaking Sound You Hear...

Might just be Eric Holder's justice department getting ready to collapse. Is the Black Panther case about to blow wide open? Will J. Christian Adams expose unlawful dealings in the Obama Justice Department now that he has resigned?

Eric Holder has stonewalled Congress, the Civil Rights Commission, and the American people regarding the inexplicable order that political appointees at Justice gave last year to drop the slam dunk winning case against the New Black Panther party.

Members of the group were caught on tape clearly intimidating white voters at a Philadelphia polling place. A summary judgment followed but before sentencing, Justice dropped the case. When some Republican senators asked why, Holder refused to comply with requests for an explanation. Even a US Civil Rights Commission subpoena couldn't get Holder to supply them with a reason why he dropped a case that Justice had already won.

Now it appears that someone is going to talk. And what he has to say will no doubt prove very interesting to Congress....

In his letter of resignation, the attorney, J. Christian Adams, expresses his concerns over his personal exposure to prosecution for contempt because Justice refuses to respond to the lawful requests from the US Civil Rights Commission:

Speechmaker-In-Chief Strangely Silent About Iran/Al Qaida Alliance

General David Petraeus mentioned two months ago that Al Qaida "continues to use Iran as a key facilitation hub, where facilitators connect al Qaidas senior leadership to regional affiliates."

Last Thursday the Associated Press reported that "Al-Qaida operatives who have been detained for years in Iran have been making their way quietly in and out of the country, raising the prospect that Iran is loosening its grip on the terror group so it can replenish its ranks, former and current U.S. intelligence officials say....Some experts believe that anyone from al-Qaida freed to leave Iran must be returning to the battlefield...
Others believe that, with al-Qaida families left behind, terrorists may actually be working for Iran, gathering intelligence or passing messages before returning to Iran."

Disturbing Racist Rape Exercise Video-Godfrey as Ty Bowman

Am I humorless? This video did not make me laugh once.

In fact, it made me uncomfortable. Humor often hides a serious point. And I don't think you need a college education to see that Godfrey is tired of getting frightened vibes from white women. I feel for him. I really do.

Does that mean I would advise women to ignore their "little voice" as they walk down the street? No, I won't do that. One might end up as Robin of Berkeley did. She ignored the little voice in her head warning her about the approaching thug. She didn't want to seem racist. She was beaten down a liberal, and rose, bloody but unbowed, a conservative.

Studies from the late 1950s showed that the vast majority of rapes were same-race offenses. Research in Philadelphia carried out in 1958 and 1960 indicated that of all rapes, only 3.2 percent were black-on-white assaults and 3.6 percent were white-on-black. Since that time, the proportion of black-on-white rapes has soared. In a 1974 study in Denver, 40 percent of all rapes were of whites by blacks, and not one case of white-on-black rape was found. In general, through the 1970s, black-on-white rape was at least ten times more common that white-on-black rape. [319]

Because interracial rape is now overwhelmingly black on white, it has become difficult to do research on it or to find relevant statistics. The FBI keeps very detailed national records on crime, but the way it presents rape data obscures the racial element rather than clarifies it. Dr. William Wilbanks, a criminologist at Florida International University, had to sift carefully through the data to find that in 1988 there were 9,406 cases of black-on-white rape and fewer than ten cases of white-on-black rape. [320] Another researcher concludes that in 1989, blacks were three or four times more likely to commit rape than whites, and that black men raped white women thirty times as often as white men raped black women. [321]

Interracial crime figures are even worse than they sound. Since there are more than six times as many whites as blacks in America, it means that any given black person is vastly more likely to commit a crime against a white than vice versa.

I've Had It With The Condescender-In-Chief

I mean it. Who does he think he is to tell us we cannot handle our tech devices and that we cannot tell what ranks high on the "truth-meter" or not. And whose truth meter are we talking about. HIS? Because if it were up to him, Fox News would disappear off the cable networks. Rush, Hannity and Levin would disappear off of the air waves. Conservative bloggers would disappear off of the internet. Huffington Post would be required morning reading.

Obama said: "Meanwhile, you're coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don't rank all that high on the truth meter. With iPods and iPads; Xboxes and PlayStations; information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment. All of this is not only putting new pressures on you; it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy."

This guy is SO transparent. He hates us and he gets his digs in when he can. He was speaking in front of a group of new graduates and wanted to warn them about us purveyors of information. Be careful, Little Red Riding Hood, don't talk to strangers. They might not have your best interest at heart. They might be a...a....heaven forbid, a distraction!

The techies have this issue all wrong. Obama could care less who uses what tech device. I Pad, I Pod, x-boxes. He doesn't want them having access to "unfiltered" opinions on the internet. Some of which don't meet HIS idea of truth. That was his real message and I think Fidel Castro would be proud. Not to mention Chavez.

1906 Streets of San Francisco-Horses, cars, hats

I must share this mesmerizing video. I love to see back in time. If you need to relax, this is the film to watch. Thanks for the heads up, Jack.
This film, originally thought to be from 1905 until David Kiehn with the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum figured out exactly when it was shot. From New York trade papers, announcing the film showing, to the wet streets from recent heavy rainfall, and shadows indicating time of year and actual weather and conditions on historical record, even when the cars were registered (he even knows who owned them and when the plates were issued!). It was filmed only four days before the Great California Earthquake of April 18th 1906 and shipped by train to NY for processing.

Cloward and Piven Have My Head Spinning

Can you keep track of the news anymore? As far as I can tell, an oil rig experienced an explosion, with the loss of 11 lives and continues to gush tons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. What caused the explosion, only time will tell. Arizona passed a law empowering police to check immigration status when making legal contact with residents. Which kicked off a flurry of activity. Mexico and San Francisco are in opposition, and flyover country favors the law. There are a number of boycotts/buycotts, but I can't keep them all straight. Just BUY Arizona, if you can figure out what they sell. Apparently Obama wants to take away Nukes from Israel. Has it ever been proven that Israel has nukes in the first place? Why would we want to disarm this tiny nation in a sea of anti-Semites? Political races heat up as primaries approach, today Sarah Palin herself spoke up about the CA Senate race, endorsing Carly Fiorina. This perplexes many of Chuck DeVore's supporters, who are suspicious that the endorsement came about because Carly used to work for McCain in some capacity. There was a Ca Senate race debate tonight which was taped for later viewing, but sparked a furious live-tweet session. There is a HUGE election today in the UK, and it looks like the conservatives are going to FINALLY come out on top. And none too soon. Socialism has taken a HUGE bite out of that country. I hope they can recover. Greece is falling apart. The DOW tanked. The third and final Navy SEAL was acquitted of abuse charges (Navy SEALS 3, Obama 0). It turns out that the Obama administration had Faisal Shahzad's name removed from the terror watch list just in time for him to set up a car bomb in Time Square. All this after Michael Bloomberg swore that the bomber HAD to be a TEA Party activist. I tell ya, my head is spinning. Did I forget anything?

Whoopie Would Rather See Babies Dead Than Adopted

The interchange between Whoopie Goldberg and Elizabeth Hasslebeck on The View Tuesday highlighted many of the smarmy, cynical reasons selfish women give for aborting their children.

I would like to start off by saying that neither Hasslebeck nor I advocate completely outlawing abortion. But Goldberg was arguing AGAINST the new law in Oklahoma (now temporarily blocked) urging women to look at an ultrasound of their unborn baby before undergoing the procedure. It makes my blood boil to hear it, but seeing her words spelled out gives me the opportunity to refute misconceptions spread by the pro-abortion left. The photo on the right is an ultrasound of my own youngest dumpling at about 12 weeks gestation.

After Hasselbeck posed, "Are you going in there with all the knowledge of what's actually going on inside of you at 16 weeks?" Goldberg responded: "But what difference does it make if you can't have the baby? What difference does it make if you're going to bring a baby in and you can't feed it and you can't take care of it and then people end up killing their kids? I hate it!"

Um. Whoopie. Did you ever hear of adoption? Killing unborn babies and killing babies are not the only options out there. Oh, you DID hear of adoption. Here is what Whoopie has to say about adoption:

"I'm for the best possible life that you can give your child. And if you end up having to give your child away, which many people do, you know, the guilt of knowing that that kid is out there, or what some people have resorted to doing when they discover they actually can't deal with it, they do terrible things to their kids."

OK. So adoption often works out well, and sometimes does not. And on the off chance the adoption would turn out badly, kill the kid quickly NOW! Does that make sense? Or is it the immature, selfish justification of someone who does not want to "know the kid is out there". Yes, it is painful to be a birth mother and not know how your child is growing and developing. A mature woman understands, though, that this is not about them. It is about what is best for the child. And saying that a dead fetus is better than an adopted baby is highly presumptuous and plain wrong.

Then, of course, Goldberg brings up the ubiquitous coathanger argument. Hasslebeck agrees that coathanger abortions are not the way to go. But that is not even part of the issue here. The issue is whether or not women should have to submit to an ultrasound of their fetus before an abortion procedure. So they can see the little wiggler with their own eyes. And even so, doctors are required to provide patients with a copy of the ultrasound, but the patient is under no obligation to watch it. They can avert their eyes during the procedure if they wish.

The whole idea behind this law is to counter the fallacy that aborted babies are not babies, but a "bunch of cells". Why should the women not be educated about their babies before making a life and death decision. Because this might cause temporary trauma to the woman? What about the permanent trauma caused to the baby. What about the trauma to the woman when she finally *does* figure out exactly how developed her child was at the time of death. How can we save her from emotional pain then. Truly, this is one situation where the truth is important. Hiding a baby's heartbeat and kicks and wiggles from its mother, just to market abortion procedures, is a crime against the baby and a crime against humanity.

Hat Tip and many thanks to Newsbusters for this thought-provoking article.

Happy Star Wars Day #starwarsday

Twitter is a funny place. Only there could I have learned that today was Star Wars Day. "May the 4th be with you."

Auditing the Fed-A Bipartisan Issue

Is this the first bipartisan issue to come up this year? I can't think of a time when I clicked a link to Huffpo and saw a huge pile of comments that I actually agree with in many cases. Many Liberals want to Audit the Fed. Many Conservatives want to Audit the Fed. Why are the White House, Wall Street and Bankers all against auditing the Federal Reserve? What information lurks in the plusses and minuses of those accounts? I want to know.

This amendment does not take away the "independence" of the Fed. It simply requires the GAO to conduct an independent audit of the Fed and requires the Fed to release the names of the recipients of more than $2 trillion in taxpayer-backed assistance during this latest economic crisis.

S. 3217 unacceptably increases the Fed's powers at a time when the American people are demanding answers as to what the Federal Reserve has been doing with the powers it currently possesses. It also strips out the strong audit language contained in the House's reform bill in favor of a watered-down approach that allows the Fed to continue operating in secret. Any true financial reform effort will start with requiring accountability from our nation's central bank.
More here.
Personally, I don't think making bank bailouts permanent is good legislation for America. But at the very least, we as Americans should be entitled to audit our own Federal Reserve.

I think we need to be especially careful right now. The level of chaos has ratcheted up several notches this past week. My Alinsky-radar is going off. What are they trying to sneak past us while we focus on the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico and the failed Islamist bombing of New York City.

Would it be worth passing the financial "reform" bill if it indeed audited the fed? Or is the bill too bad for America in the first place. Can we get another bill through about Auditing the Fed?

...make nothing of their schemes...

Those who plot evil against me, make nothing of their schemes....

It is part of a prayer recited by Jews at every service. I can only marvel at how fortunate we are that the Christmas Day bomber failed and that Faisal in New York failed in their attempts to ignite their bombs. Goodness knows we had no other protection at that point.

The Aborted Baby Bird

It broke my heart. I had just noticed in the last couple of days that a nest had been rebuilt on top of the little speaker mounted above my sliding glass door in back. Happiness. Birds. New life. A thriving ecosystem.

Somebody else noticed too. In the interests of maintaining confidentiality, I will call him Mr. Oviraptor. I saw him, a much larger bird than the little grey one fluttering around him. He swooped onto the nest and begin tossing down shreds of nesting material. I chased him off. Not 5 minutes later, the nest was torn completely in half, tossed to the ground, and 2 pale blue eggs lay dashed upon the concrete. One was wiggling feebly in the remnants of its shell. I felt sick. This is horrible. This crime. The bully just came in and ended these small lives.

And as I stared and then turned away, I thought about how we humans do this to our own offspring in the womb. It is unconscionable.

It's Not Easy Being Green

My kids like this timeless song. They are a chip off the ole' block.

Fort Knox Military Exercises Update

After publishing yesterday, Mr. Alexander was contacted by Command Staff at Ft. Knox who confirmed that there was a security exercise, but that the scenario circulated among officers, security personnel and civilians, had been altered to include "Tea Party" and "anti health care" protesters "in order to make it more realistic."

In his essay, Mr. Alexander wrote, "It's not likely that Ft. Knox Commanding General James Milano or Deputy Commander Col. David Teeples, or even the regimental and brigade commanders for the 16th Cav and 194th AB, actually read the exercise scenario..."

Indeed, Command personnel informed Mr. Alexander that they had neither read the scenario nor authorized it.

Further, Mr. Alexander was informed that the officer who authored the scenario had been identified and would be brought in for "appropriate counsel" to ensure no such highly politicized scenario finds its way into official channels again.

Mr. Alexander says he accepts the explanation provided by Command staff with the caveat that it is not clear why objections to this scenario were not raised within the command by those who received it, thus requiring objections to be raised by The Patriot Post.

More here.

I hope this is a lesson learned for those who needed to learn it. Dehumanizing opponents is the first step in creating a scenario of human rights abuse. We must continue to remain vigilant and not allow labeling or misrepresentation to occur. Unchallenged, it can have devastating results. Bravo to Mr. Alexander and the bloggers who publicized this story. And much appreciation to all of the men and women who continue to keep their oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.
