AARP's Dirty Little Secret

I watched Dick Morris on Greta Van Susteren tonight. He described AARP's angle on Obamacare. I knew there had to be something. I mean, an organization does not risk its reputation unless there is a lot at stake. There is. About 60 to 70% of AARP revenues come from kickbacks when they sell Medigap policies, which help seniors cover health care costs not covered by Medicare. There is a competing plan, apparently, called Medicare Advantage. It was magically written deep into HR3200 that funding for Medicare Advantage policies would be cut, forcing people to buy Medigap, which costs $100 more per month, and gives "revenue" to AARP. This would affect 10 milliion seniors.
